Why do the tranmission seal break what cause them to break the heat? How can I avoid oil leaks?

Taxes, death and fluid leaks; all are inevitable! The best defense against any fluid leak, is to properly maintain the component. Changing your fluids at the recommended intervals will prolong the life of the seals but, like any mechanical device, it will eventually leak or break.
