How do you replace the oil seal on a 1993 maxima?

which oil seal? How do you replace the oil seal on a 1993 maxima?
any seal in the motor or transmission such as the front/rear main seals, and the transmission seals will require removal of the engine and trans. How do you replace the oil seal on a 1993 maxima?
Like which seal
theres a lot of oil seal at automotive engine. u mean front crankshaft oil seal and rear crankshaft oil seal. For Front crankshaft oil seal, you better remove the timing chain/belt, damper pulleys, etc. If rear crankshaft pulley, better to remove the transmission assembly
front or rear? if it is the front or rear you will have to remove the oil pan to do it right so you have no leaks, the crank shaft harmonic balancer, all the belts/alternator,and ac compressor will have to be removed just to do the front oil seal, so i would advise you to take the engine out and put it on a engine stand to do it, you will have to invert the engine anyways to do a good job of installing the new seals
