What is the cheapest way to fix an oil leak in a rear main seal?

The truck is a '94 F-150. The leak is small, but it's still a leak. What is the cheapest way to fix an oil leak in a rear main seal?
There is no cheap way to fix it, pull the trans out and replace the seal. What is the cheapest way to fix an oil leak in a rear main seal?
Do it yourself. That is the cheapest way. Alot of work, got to drop the crankshaft some ( MAJOR job ), but that is the only way that job will ever be cheap, if you can do it yourself. Otherwise, prepare for a minimum $500 expense. Probably more.

grimlingst, you might be wrong. Many of the Fords back then had one piece rear main seals, in which case, the trans has to come out Much easier, but still no little job. CK. with the parts guys first. No offense intended.
fix the seal yourself...
is it a one peice seal or a two peice rear main seal
