My tranmission on my 2000 dodge durango is leaking oil is a broke seal, what happen if I dont replace that seals will the leaks get worst? It too much money to get it fix b/c they got to take the tranmiisiion out in order to put the seal on it! Also the rear engine oil seal is leaking too, What should I do? Buy a jappanesse cars?My tranmission on my 2000 dodge durango is leaking oil is a broke seal, what happen if I dont replace that sea?
A jappanesse as you spell it will cost more than it will to fix your durango. On top of that if the same issue crops up in the ';jappanesse'; car it will cost 3 times a much to get it fixed. Rear main seals go out in Jap cars just as often as they do in american cars.My tranmission on my 2000 dodge durango is leaking oil is a broke seal, what happen if I dont replace that sea?
man if you don't repair it you,ll mess it up,i got one to do in about a week that's leaking from about the same places, its a costly repair ,but much more costly if you don't repair it,its cheaper to repair it than take a chance on loosing a transmission in it,or engine, good luck.
If you don't get it fixed soon, you are going to ruin the transmission. Keep the level up and carry extra fluid with you. You didn't say how bad it was leaking, so I would have to guess, just enough to notice. get it done soon though. If you have time, the seals are less than $20 for them.
you better change it or it will burn your transmission up
