Wished you have said exactly where the leak was. How much do you loose. Is your driveway showing oil after the car's been sitting a while? Wish we could help because there are a few unorthodox tricks, such 12 oz. of transmission stop leak or Lucas hydraulic oil with stop leak. A cup full of this stuff should stop everything but a ';peeing'; main seal. Is your oil pan rusted at the bottom as most old Fords do? Oil leaks usually occur from a bad seal. Additives will only swell the seals, not repair them. The best product is a new seal.

Get some permagasket dry off the area and goop it up....you will need to do this every time it falls off until you get it repaired. Probably after you spend the 200 bucks on permagasket...
I would have to say the name would be FEL-PRO. It is called a gasket sometimes a seal. It is the only way to fix a leaky engine properly. by the way what kind is it so I don't accidently run into it and want to purchase it from you.
I would agree with a miraculous product called FELPRO.
First, get some engine foamy brite foam spray....clean the area up, run the engine and find the leak....it may be easier and cheaper to fix than you think.

advance sells a good product called bars leaks ...but no matter what u use the leak will eventually get worse and it will cost more to replace your car or engine than to get the leak fixed now.
then your car is going to keep leaking. It doesnt pay to be a Jew it will cost you more in the long run if u end up blowing up the engine. However I heard Mrs. Buttersworth works pretty good.
