Is there a way to seal oil pastel drawings?

I mean without buying a spray or something. Any household materials/ products that work? I'm at home, and I need to keep a drawing in my sketchbook smudge-free for tomorrow's art class.... any suggestions? Is there a way to seal oil pastel drawings?
Wax paper is about the best household item that should work.

Try it on some test pages and even do a stress test to see how much it might smear.

Additional information: As for sprays in the house. Hairspray works pretty good too, but likely not so much on oil pastels (great for charcoal drawings). The only caveat of using hairspray is they may yellow your paper. This could be due to the fact that the hairspray may contain some colouring agents in it and also acid which is paper's worst enemy. If you do hairspray, like I mentioned before, do it on a test sample. Is there a way to seal oil pastel drawings?
You could try using a piece of wax paper over it.

When you decide to buy a spray though, there are some good ';fixative'; sprays available. Just be sure to try them on a sample first though, to make sure they are acceptable to you before using on your artwork. Some of them change your artwork a bit....
