How long will olive oil stay good in a sealed bottle?

I have an old jar maybe five years old that has never been opened. It is sealed with a cork, and wax on the outside. Think its still good? How long will olive oil stay good in a sealed bottle?
Probably good. Open it, smell it, if all goes well, taste it. If it tastes funky, I wouldn't use it. If you have a cat, offer a bit to him or her. Cats will not eat anything that is spoiled. But they might not care for olive oil, either, so that's not a guarantee. Olive oil goes rancid very quickly once it's opened, but sealed, should be okay. After you open it, store it in the fridge to keep it from going rancid. It will get cloudy and partially solidify, but that's okay. Just let it come to room temperature before you use it, and shake well. It will keep indefinitely in the fridge. How long will olive oil stay good in a sealed bottle?
well yes bcoz oil stays real good 4 a long time and as far as its not opened and not has been mixed inside it
olive oil doesnt spoil
those things usually stay good for awhile. they usually keep for two years if properly stored and unopened.
It might be.

If it is a good extra virgin olive oil in a green bottle, it might be usable.

Don't expect the flavor to be anything special, and despite being sealed, it may have gone rancid. Good oils aren't heated or pasteurized, it kills the flavors.

Open it, sniff it, if it's cloudy or smells wonky, pitch it instantly.

Best wishes!
yes oil doesnt go bad if never been opened
There should be a use by date somewhere on the bottle, I would go by that.

If the bottle is five years old, I would not use it, dispose of it.
Like all fats, olive oil is a delicate product. It becomes rancid very easily and needs to be stored carefully to preserve its flavor and health-giving properties.

Like many natural products, olive oil passes through a series of life stages. Newly pressed extra virgin olive oil is often not well balanced and can be aggressive and disorganized in aroma and flavor. It stabilizes about a month after production, acquiring harmony and its own special character. Month-old oil is at its peak, from then on it gradually loses aroma and intensity. After two years it is flat and tired and should be thrown away.
Yes..it is oil..It does not go bad..before you even bought it ..it probably sat for over 1 year
Yes it's good, if never opened before.
