Different o-rings, gasket, and oil seals in an engine??...?

someone with a comprehensive knowledge as such, of the engine kindly help me out as i need to present a cut away section of an engine displaying the different sealing components.... and would be great if you could suggest me the type of machining operation generally practised to cut such a section.... wire cutting???Different o-rings, gasket, and oil seals in an engine??...?
The most accessible tool to do that job would probably be a plasma cutter, for the metal cutting. Good old tin snips for the gaskets and such. You will definitely need a grinder and a cut-off wheel for smoothing out the edges.Different o-rings, gasket, and oil seals in an engine??...?
it will be difficult to find a cut out of an engine, some auto parts stores have this type of display.

other than that, you might try to bring in a sample of items for your project. a piston and rings from a local junk yard, a gasket that seals the head to the block and items like that..

good luck
End mills and fly cutting. Heat would distroy plastic intake manifolds and cause slag and a mess when cutting into a cylinder block or a cylinder head.
