The crank shaft seal busted and all the oil went into the stater, is the stater still functional?

it might not be functional with all the oil on it but when you clean it, it will be fine. go to a parts store and get electrical terminal cleaning spray to clean it. other products will damage it. don't use carb or brake cleaner on it. pull it clean it, fix the seal and you're good to go.The crank shaft seal busted and all the oil went into the stater, is the stater still functional?
